Since 2006 Mobistar has been thinking about reducing its costs for real estate by grouping all its services together; this involves more than 2,500 people. In the end, Mobistar is going to be established in the Da Vinci industrial park, rue du Bourget in Evere (1140 Brussels) in a building belonging to Banimmo. The agreement was concluded in 2007.
The arrival of the second largest mobile telecoms operator strengthens the technological positioning of the Da Vinci site, and the BRDA is thrilled! The ICT sector (information and communication technology) is one of the three sectors booming with innovation and jobs that is being encouraged by the government of the Brussels-Capital Region.
29,500 m² distributed over six levels
With a long-term lease contract, Mobistar will be in a position to take possession ofmove to its new premises in the second half of 2009. This project was carried out for many months by Banimmo and supported by the BRDA, the landowner of this location.
The chosen location offers numerous advantages in terms of accessibility and of technical services.
The environment and energy savings were also at the heart of the new tenant’s concerns.
